    Web friendly fonts

Can anyone list web friendly fonts? As many as you can.
I wanted something fancy but I have found out that not computers can read them.

Its aggravating because the font style really made the page look good.

    Thanks

This topic has been discussed many times. I did a search on Google and a search on this site.

I recommend Girl's links Stephen. You have just found out why almost every website in existence uses fonts that look similar, its because they are similar: Arial, Verdana, etc :)

All fonts will work on all computers but I can only see the special font on your website if I have the same font installed on my computer.

If short, say a header or title consider converting your text to a .gif file. Everything else, use defaults like Amanda suggests.
