Drop down menu and browser concerns

I am beginning to design my new website and love the drop down menu feature. My concern is that not all browsers may support this feature and then my customers will not be able to navigate my site. Is this an issue I need to be concerned about and if so, what should I do to eliminate the possibilty of losing customers?

I use the drop down menu on a site I built for another business - and have not found a browser it doesn't work in. So, I don't see that as a problem.

I initially used BV drop down menus, and all was fine. I haven't read of a browser problem in the forums.
