adding a "tell a friend"

Dear All
I have a tell a friend picture and I want to make this work like a button (hyperlink no doubt) so the viewers e-mail program opens with a message that I have started - "Check out this cool website" or something like that. Any ideas?

Although that script is not really what I was after. It might work if I make another page with that script HTML and then Hyperlink my button to it.
