How to apply html as a link to another website?

How do I go about putting html text that was given to me to link to another website? I was told to copy the text, but now what?

Please help as I am supposed to do this in order to be listed on their directory site.......If I am not successful quickly, they may not list me.

    Thanks!!!

On the left hand side tool bar at the top is a HTML box icon. Click on it. That will open a box that has a bunch of "HTML"s on it. Right click on it and then click on properties. Paste your code here- and then click ok. You can then move the box where you want on the page. Re-size the box as needed.

How about doing it the same as text links on your site - makes it much easier for yourself to see what you've done.

Say they tell you they want this on the site:

        url: www.theirdomain.com
        title: our directory
description: Directory of sites for whatever.

        You would type in:

our directory - Directory of sites for whatever.

Then you would highlight the words our directory and use the link function of BV - same as for your own links - but now you put in the url they gave you - and click blank (so it opens in a new window.

        You could also do them:

        Our Directory
        Directory of sites for whatever.

Same highlighting, etc to do the link.

You can also use the html code and the boxes, but you'll be adding them more often and have less control that way if you aren't familiar with html.

Use all the goodies BV provides for you.
