'Email to a friend' service

I would like to add an 'email to a friend' service.

I would like it on every one of my articles with 2 simple fields, one for the recipient' email and other for the sender's. I want the page I put it on, (the actual article link) to be sent and not my homepage.

What is the best way to do this?

PS I've sample a free service I found, but not only was there a banner ad on the form (which I could live with) but it also caused a pop-up when you opened the article (which I couldn't live with, and so removed it).

Hi, I think navaldesign has a script for this. If not you can try this one & adapt for your own use http://www.collectors-info.com/testi...a_friend2.html pop any email address into it & will do what you asked for.
The slight advantage that I like about this one is that it opens their email program so they can add loads of friends if they wanted. Try it you will see what i mean.
Disadvantaged is that it may not work on some business servers email.

Thanks for the reply. I've been checking out navaldesign's script, and seem to have fallen at the final hurdle and it won't work.

I'll post on that thread to ask about it.
