    Scrolling Box

    I would like to have a box inserted on my webpage that is seperate from the main page, but allows u to add text to it, so that you can alos scroll up and down the box. But i would also like to be able to see any background pictures that are on the main page in theis box too.

    Is this possible?

    Use the inline frame component from BlueVoda 7.5

      I tried that but it doesnt seem to allow me to have that inline box as see through. Wat i want is a background pic with that scroll box on it, but i want that scroll box to be see through, so u can see the background picture through it, so the writing goes over the top of the picture, and allows u to see the picutre, if that makes sense.

          Yes, you can do this with BlueVoda:

          Part A:
          1. Create a page with the text your want to scroll.
          2. Open Page HTML and enter this code in the Between Head Tag field:
          <style type="text/css">
          body {background-color: transparent}
          </style>

          3. Publish the page to your web account and remember it's name.

          Part B:
          4. Create a page with an IFRAME (Inline Frame)
          5. Set the URL to the page above.
          6. Open the Object HTML for this inline frame.
          7. Enter this code in the Inside Tag field:
          allowtransparency="true" background-color="transparent"

          8. Preview or publish the page to see the effect.

              Iframe

              Just came across this posting and tested the iframe function. What is this application mainly used for?

                I have tried wat u suggested Pablo, but it isnt wat i want. Wat u have said for me to do, actually gives me my whole web page in the scrolling box, but all i want is the text from the webpage i have created in the scroll box, with this scroll box on top of my origianl page but i want the scroll box to be transparent over the main page so the background pic is see able.

                Here is an example: http://www.the-underground.moonfruit.com/ once u enter the site goto News page and u will then see wat i am after.

                  This requires the use of flash.

                      You can insert Flash into BlueVoda very easily, but you can not use BlueVoda
                      design a flash movie.

                            I have inserted a scrolling box, but it doesn't scroll, even in preview. I cannot fit all my text in. What do I do? Thanks. x
