Hi all my name is billy and i was wondering if someone can help me, i am trying to build a website an was wondering if it is possible to place a comment box on the main page something simple like a box for the message and and a submit button. i all so want the messages to display in the same page so other visitors can see what people have said is this possible? i have searched the net but come up with nothing would this involve writing out a php script and if so how would i go about it I'm sorry if this sounds dumb as i am a beginner and i am learning all the time.

i looked on the links you gave me and it is sort of what i am looking for, i was wondering if there is a way of making it my self and not so much of a chat room look a like. i hope this makes sense.
