Creating a fade in slideshow

Hi everyone,

I am looking to create a 'fade in' picture slideshow of my photography on the front page of my website www.georgesutherland.com to replace the disjointed effect produced when currently entering the gallery page.

Can anyone offer advise on the best way to do this and explain it in easy to understand terms? I don't understand how I can get a number of pictures to appear one after the other on the one page. Is there a way I can do this with BlueVoda or will I have to look elsewhere?

it is free and I think it might have what you are looking for.

If not I know you can make one with www.koolmoves.com Not free, but pretty reasonable easy to use flash program

Hi Liz,

Thanks for the helpful info. The latter of the two looks like it could enhance my own website so I'll have a good look at it. Hopefully it will be easy enough for me to work out how best to use it. Should I need any additional help I'll let you know.

yep it is a good program, I am still learning it, but they have a forum too (of course not as good as this one!), which has tutorials to help.
