Another ??: this time, right-justifiying text

O.K., I must have a jinx on me this morning! I resolved my left-justified image issue, and now I have a right-justified text issue! Argh.

I have a two-line text box at the top right, immediately under my template header. In my template, it looks fine. When I preview the published page, the first line looks centered within the (invisible) text box, and the second line not quite centered.

Hope this is coherent, and that someone has an idea of what I'm doing wrong.

Have you highlighted the text before aligning it to the right or centre as required?

Yes, I had. I finally figured out what was wrong: I had spaces inserted after the first line of text. Sorry for posting questions and then figuring it out on my own... I really did spend time on it previous to posting! Hopefully, my experience will help someone else.
