HTML code for music player not working.

Be gentle. This is my first time. (www.apublicsecret.com)

I've been trying to add a music player via an HTML code. It workd fine in Microsoft Publisher preview (my practice place) but when I insert it in the HTML box on BlueVoda, it does not show up at all, let alone play.

The player and code is generated by SnapDrive. It works fine on other blogs I maintain. Is there a better player or means of getting my music on?

I don't want to create a link to the music, I want it on the site, if possible. Am I missing something in the code? This is the actual code I'm using: I only inverted the embed backets in hopes that the code will appear here.

    >embed src="http://www.snapdrive.net/mp3player.swf" width="320" height="250" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" allowfullscreen="false" flashvars="&file=http://www.snapdrive.net/playlist.php%3Fid%3D201492&backcolor=0x000000&fron tcolor=0xFFFFFF&lig***olor=0x000000&height=250&wid th=320&displayheight=50&showeq=true&shuffle=false& autostart=true&autoscroll=false&repeat=list" wmode="transparent" border="0" saveEmbedTags="true"> >/embed<

    Thanks.

i put music on my site in 2 different ways:
    1. right click on the page, open background tab and insert music file there
    2. make a movie, with just sound and import to page via windows movie maker.
    hope this helps

Thanks so much for responding. Adding the music to the background works great but the files take too long to load. I will try Windows Movie Maker.

I learned that Flash files are much smaller and I tried a program called Flash Music Studio. It is really great and makes the music files into .swf files. The players are hot looking and can be hidden. But when I tried placing it in my site via the Flash tool, it didn't show up.
