Can I use 3rd party Fixed Menu Bars?

Greetings and all good things to all of you! I am new to Blue Voda and I do intend to open a Vodahost account as soon as I get about 4 pages built! My question, now, is: Can I use 3rd party, shareware "buttons" instead of the standard fixed menu bars and, of so, how do I do it? I'd appreciate any help you could give me!

    Hi
I would think you would have to save your
third party buttons as images, then while in the Bluevoda
builder click on "insert Image" then go to the folder
where you saved them, highlite the desired image and click OK

You can then position your image/images anywhere on your page.
You will then need to make each button a clickable link.

    hope this helps

You could also use them by following css and php - without adding them to your images.

So, yes, you can - that is how I do some of my navigation on some sites. There should be directions on how to add them to your site with the codes given to use them.

Thanks Aussie and Beth! I think I am going to use the standard buttons for now but might dig into the other methods. I tried manipulating some graphics but the text, on the 'homemade' buttons wouldn't let me insert a link and the text has to be 'on top' of the graphic.

This is gonna be a fun venture!

Dan - you can also make your own buttons - I've done that several times also - look at this thread:
