How do I use an image for my background without it being repeated and positioned on the left side?

    Use a larger image.

      Re: background images

I used quite a large image, but it just repeats it horizontally...

        LOL, larger please:)
Stretch it vertically if needed, sacrificing quality . Believe me, been there, done that. Sometimes, I give up using pictures for background if the original is too small and use background templates instead.

I too have this problem but the odd thing is I built my entire website all was fine for a couple of months. Suddenly a month ago all of my pages are out of alignment and are tiling or repeating. The text is out of place too. I've tried everything I can think of to get it back to normal.

            Re: background images

If you want to use an image as a background without it tiling, insert it as an image.
NOT as a background. this will have the same effect. You have to understand that not
all images are ment to be used as backgrounds. They must be the right size to begin
with. If they are not and you strectch them, they will look like ****.

Click the below link to visit our image library. We provide you 100's of free
backgrounds. You will notice all the backgrounds we provide are patterns
not images. So when you insert them as back grounds and they tile and
            they look ok.

Just redo your pages, you probably upgraded BlueVoda versions. If your
site was designed with an older version of BV and you open the page in
a newer version of BV some distortion might occure. Click the link below
to get the latest version of BV.
