    Transparent Background for Text

I am new to Blue Voda - and to website design, for that matter. I have downloaded a BV template, and want to put text on the border of the template - how do I do make the background of the text transparent?

Now, I am using white text on a dark border, and when I preview, I just see a white box, instead of white text on the dark background.

    Any help would be appreciated.

One other question - is it possible to wrap text around an image?

    Thanks for your help.

I am pretty sure that if you are using the text feature on BV it is set to a transparent background. if you have been trying other background colours and can't get rid of it, try 'reset background' on the colour control.

It sure looks transparent in BV, but when I preview in the browser, it just looks like a white box. Resetting the background didn't seem to help.

      I appreciate your input.

Rather than tinker with the text you have. Try a fresh bit of text and change the font to white & preview. Let me know if you are still getting the same problem

Great idea, Derrick. I tried with new text, and it seemed to work. I appreciate your help.
