Adding a search button

I want to add a search button to my site that will take the user directly to their desired item within a page. I have no html knowledge and need to find the easiest way to do this. Can anyone help?

You can get one through Google. Do this.
Go to www.google.com, then look at the upper right side of the google page where it says "sign in". There you can create an account, Its free. Once you create your google account, log in and then you will see a "My Account" link at the top right of the page also .
Click on that link. You will be in your free google account, and will find free tools for your website. To get your custom
search link for your site that your talking about, scroll to the bottom where you find a link that says "more". You will find to the right of the page
"Explore and innovate" then click on "Custom Search". I have one on my site if you want to check it out www.owndefense.com
