Not sure here ... but I know Bethers will tell you that it is not good to have anything on your page that viewers cannot see .. this would be the case in transparent font .. not really sure what you are trying to accomplish ??

      Re: transparent font?

thanks, just thought it would be a way to have a cool font, that can change colour, at the moment i am using 2pics (created in paint) in a rotating banner to flash a colour change every 1 second.

just thought if i could slide a mixtue of solid colour pics underneath a transparent font it may look a bit cooler.

i need to do something a bit better than what i have for the index page, but i am just mot sure what? any suggestions?

Hmm ... I'll do some thinking but currently it's breakfast time here and I keep getting hung up on your bakery department, I seem to be only just staring at the Bakery, LOL .. hungry, ..

but .. you could put your site up in customer reviews and pose that question there and you will find many posters will come and offer suggestions for you ..

i think i made my transparent font

this is basically what i meant, but just quickly whipped this example up

does it work on your puters? took a bit to get it to go on mine?

              That looks really cool Jason
I saw a black box scroll across the first time but saw the intended effect 2nd & 3rd time.

                    Re: transparent font?

Was not completely transparent for me. There were enough artifacts to indicate that text was there before the scrolling color effect happened.
