  • How do I reveal text with 'mouse-over'?

    Hi

I'm trying to make text appear when I hover the mouse cursor over different areas of a photograph!

As you move the mouse around the photo, I want different text to appear, describing what the person is pointing at!

This doesn't need to be anything fancy, but the only way I can find in Bluevoda that looks likely, is to put transparent shapes over key areas of the photo, and create a mouse-over event for each. But I cannot work out how to make it work!

    Please help
    Pete

I believe that you could accomplish that with the BV Image mapping tool. What that does is break up a photo into sections and those sections you can make links or do other things with.

I have not used it myself...but others have.

Have a look at the tutorials and look for the Image Map one.

    Hope that helps

      Thanks andy - that's helped.

All I've managed to do though, is to get the "alternative text' to show when I mouse over the different elements - What I'd really like is a nicely formatted tet box to pop up instead. Any ideas anyone?

      Thanks
