    Sara,

There are a couple of ways you can lessen the chances of this kind of stuff, but not remove altogether, which is why most of us don't have blogs. What about a forum, would you be able to make use of this rather than a blog? Much easier to control for spam.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

      Sara
In the properties for the guest book you have an option of showing the admin log-in. If you include this you can sign in and delete those messages. It will not stop more from showing up, and the password needs to be strong ( a combination of upper and lower case as well as numbers). Nothing will be 100% but at least you can get rid of that junk if you really want the guest book.

You have to go into your guest book from your site (on the net) scroll down to the bottom of your posts and you'll see the log in.

Hi, thanks for your help i have found that button and typed in my password but it is not doing anything it just takes me back to my guestbook as it previously was, there are no delete buttons at all.. where do i find these????

Also when i downloaded the new bluevoda and went to re-publish a page it has deleated my username and password from the publish box.. i tried every password i can think of (even the original BV one) and it still comes up with an error message.

Can anyone help me with this problem too???

                Thanks for your time

                  Re: Guestbook - blocking/deleating messages

Ok first the guest page, once you typed in your password it appears to have taken you back to where you were but look close and you'll see that now there are links under each post saying (delete) and (whois) you can go through and delete each one, rememeber to log out.I don't know of a way to delete in mass other than republishing your guest book.

And for the publishing problem, when you up graded to the new version you have to enter your info again. Make sure you are logging into the right server (I ran into this problem when I up graded) your user name and password will not have changed. Look at the order confirmation you received when you signed up for the details.
