Adding demo music to our website

I have been working on a website for my husbands' band Autovenom. We are planning on selling the CDs soon. I would like to put a couple of demo songs on the music page and be able to play the song by clicking on the name of the song. I can't figure this out. Also, I don't want anyone to be able to make a copy of the music. Is this possible to do?

    Thanks

    1) Upload the music files to the server
    2) Create hyperlinks to the music files on your website.

Thanks, I have the music up. I set it up using quick time.

You can check it out at WWW.autovenom.com/Music.html for a sample.

The 2 ways I have found are:

On the page you want the music
Click on Quick Time (left of the page)
Go to the Quick Time properties
Find the music wanted and set the options you want
            and publish
It took me a long time to get the page to publish, but it worked
            or
upload to the FTP manager (found in the tools)
            connect
find the file you want on the left side and copy over to the FTP side
(this took my computer a long time also)
Once that is completed go the the page you want the music and click were you want the link
            Click the link icon
in the URL put your http://your domain/filename.extension and publish

I don't know if those are the recommended ways, but they worked for me.

            Hope that helps

No, the files were not zipped. Are you using a MAC or PC? People with the MAC are having that problem. I don't know what to do about that yet.

Re: Adding demo music to our website

I would greatly appreciate help configuring the sample music on my page. www.dennissmithguitar.com I loaded a bar for each sample - it seems like there should be a more efficient way. People have to stop the sample before starting another. It works, but before I do another sample set I need information on a more reasonable method. I visited autovenom's site and the links didn't work. Only the first song played when the page opened. I put in a ticket/request to blue voda and they said post a question here or find it myself in one of their tutorials. I couldn't find it addressed in a tutorial.

Re: Adding demo music to our website

If you guys install music players and files on your site, make sure that they PLAY on a visitor's computer - not only on yours, even if in your preview mode.
If they don't play like that - return here...

                    Peace,
