banners (gif's) not showing

hello,
im new here, and am struggling to get my published website showing any images, a couple show ok, but most show as just text with an 'x'.
please help

Hello,

I don't know for sure, but when I had a problem exactly like this it was because I was publishing "changed files only". So, possibly, when you click publish make sure you are "Publishing All Files".

Check in your CPanel and make sure that "Hot Link Protection" is NOT enabled.
