    creating a link

    i have a picture of an ebook on the page, i want it so that when people click on the book they go right to the book itself. So when i put it as a file (the link), it says i can't it has to be http. and i don't know how to do that. any help?

    this is what it says "BlueVoda has generated HTML for the current page only and as a result all internal links are disabled.

    To enable these links be sure to publish all referenced pages to your website and specify their absolute URLs in the link properties"

    Re: creating a link

    you say you have an ebook. is it a pdf file or a doc. file? let's say it is a doc file that you made in word. you should save this file in your blue voda folder. now that you have it saved, you can ftp transfer the file to your root directory. here is the link to learn how to use ftp in blue voda:

    now you have the ebook uploaded to your root directory.
    make a link on the page showing the book like this:
    http:://www.yoursitename.com/ebook.doc
    thats it when someone links to the ebook, a new page will come up and they can print or read the ebook.
    hope this helps,
