Another question I have though, I am thinking of adding another page to my site to include other relevant website links on nutrition & diet.
When I add a link to someone elses website on my site, do I need to ask their permission first? Or can I just go ahead and add their url link to my site?
Most other webmasters would welcome links to their sites........
You could even email them telling them where your link is and asking politley
if they would mind returning the favour.....this is one way of building those important back links............
I have a problem with a border which i've added to my pages, has anyone encountered this? Do I have a virus or something?
I have added a light green shadow/border around each of my main pages. When I preview them in the website builder, they are the same distance on the right and the bottom. When I publish the page, the bottom border shows up bigger than the border on the right side.
I have the same number (5) for both the x & y shadow offset, so I dont know why it changes once I publish it.
I have tried saving numerous times & re-publishing, but the shadows/borders never stay the same size. Am I doing something wrong ?
Try asking different questions in new threads as the above question has nothing to to with the subject of the main thread........you will get quicker answers that way Rangaz.....................
btw: your green shadow box looks OK to me.................
Rangaz,
When working with Flash intros you want to use pre-loaders. You design the preloaders right with the Flash project. You add a new scene, name it preloader, add another scene and name it intro. Then if your site is in Flash, you add scenes. Your preloader code is set to play the intro when a certain scene is loaded. If you make a Flash intro your landing page, then you want to rename your page index.html or people will see all your files. Hope that helps.
hmmm, I thought I was asking about the border edges on my pages, lol
But thanks for the flash intro info, I'm sure it will come in handy very soon in the future.
Cheers
