PDF download forcably closed

I trying to have a e book downloaded from my site. I have it in my ftp file and have it linked as ftp://www.yourfairdeal.com/stopforeclosurefreeebook.pdf (I know it's long)

once it starts to download I get a message that the download has been shut down by the remote source.
What is happening and how can I fix it?

the link should be http:// instead of ftp://

However, i didn't even find your file.

I changed the link to http and tried it again. This time I didn't even make it to the download section.
I have this e book on my FTP and am trying to download it from there.
Is that the right place for it?

I don't know why the whole thing won't type in
the ending is: foreclosure book .pdf

No.. you shouldnt have it in your ftp folder. It should be in the public html
