    Cookie stuffing question.

Ok so i'm new to cookie stuffing, I don't know how many of your agree or disagree this method, but if you DO NOT AGREE with this method DO NOT post saying "This is stupid, you're stupid, la la la cookie stuffing is dumb and illegal" etc. etc. because it will just be disregarded and a waste of your time.

Anyways, back on topic here, well I know the steps a believe:
    1st: aquire the affiliate link.
2nd: upload an image to your webserver (for image stuffing)
3rd edit the .htaccess file (and or upload it if you don't have one to your webserver) to redirect your image to your affiliate link
4th: post your img url in forums, anything you can post html or bb code.

Ok so I know the steps but I'm messing up when editing the HTaccess file

    i've got it like this:

    ^my htaccess file

But what is my webserver doesnt have an .htaccess file?
And when I create one I have to put htaccess.txt
because when I create a file on my file manager as .htaccess it automatically deletes.

    Any solutions?
also is flash stuffing better than image stuffing?

    Thanks guys,
    -Nate

    Re: Cookie stuffing question.

You would save it as .htaccess

htaccess is the extension.. you also need to omit the remarks

I mean in your .htacess the line that says

          "If you have"

Should NOT be part of the code

OHHH haha, I know that :-p

That was just an example I picked up.

But if .htaccess is just an extension can I put anything in front of it?
because on ********* I was trying to create a .htaccess file but it says it saves then i cant find it..

any advice on that? Should I add a prefix

OK so I think I got it, but after I close my file manager the .htaccess file disapears...

Also another thing is, does amazon work with stuffing properly? Because I tried it and it only redirected to a banner on all of them
              idk.

You need to set it to show HIDDEN FILES .. and you also when save as change the bottom window to ALL files. DO NOT ADD A PREFIX
