Introducing text from an outside folder(notebook)

Is it possible to transfer text from another file or folder onto an already made template,a bluevoda template. I have tried all I know without success

Yes. you copy and paste it into a text box. Then drag and position the text box where you want it to be.

If its a word doc.. or pdf.. you EMBED it like you would a video file

Thank you,I'm not that well skilled in some of the things that need doing,I will probably have to visit this sitr a large number of times.
