I wish to add sms sender to my website, so that I can send sms directly from my website to customers. Can someone tell me the proceedure for that.

Here's a link to a code sample for a service to send sms directly from your website (without having to go through email). Of course whatever method you use you will have to sign up for sms service as your hosting account in itself can't send them.
