how to get rid of index of page

hi and thanks for any help i may get,
i have a page were users can upload files and a button that will take them to the upload folder were they can see all files that have bin uploaded, but it shows a (index of) page is there a way to show the files a normal page

sure.. make an index page for that folder and LINK to each file

any way to have this done auto as i dont fansy doing this every time a file is uploaded
