Can someone help please, what is a site map and how do I make one for my site my site is www.AddictsR.com. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you in advance.
If you are speaking of the GOOGLE sitemap, there is a generator, actually multiple that are available, the easiest one to deal with is a .xml site map.
Here is a great one, and it is free for smaller sites.
After you create the sitemap (follow the directions on the site indicated) then you download the xml sitemap to your computer, then upload via your control panel file manager, or ftp to the root directory of your site. Of course for GOOGLE, you need to sign up for the WEBMASTER tools...and do all that is required per their requests to get the sitemap hooked up with them..
If you were asking about an onsite "sitemap" or "site map" then, you just have to build a page with links too all the pages you want visible on your "map" and then save it as "Site map" for your button text.... /sitemap.html for your page url (following the other required url info) and publish.
Hope that helped...if not...let me know..

Reason: further explaination
Thank you very much, I followed what you suggested and now I am waiting for Google to respond. I am still new at this and I welcome all the help I can get. So again thank you very much
Why doesnt anyone use the site map that is installed with Blue Voda?
In your blue voda site builder it is under tools.
It seems to work ok except the fact it keeps picking up pages that do not exist on my site nor in my root directory.
Does any one know what that is about?
Update: (Thank you LadyEye)
If you have a link going to a page that does not exist on your site, it will add it to the site map. So make sure all links are good prior to creating site map. Google will pick it up if it is in yoru site map and it is a bad link.
The great way to keep google happy is to run "verify Links" on each page prior to uploading if you are unsure.
Also remember to do your custom 404 last or it will not pick up bad links.
