password protect problem

hi everyone,

i got a problem when i password protect my public_html it also password protects tmp www and i dont want it to do this, becuase it password proctects all my pages... i made a new folder on which i dont want those files 2 be protected yet it does how to make it only proctect public_html not tmp www

Hi Hidden
When you password protect public_html everything in your account will require a password.. you can protect folders individually

Take off the public protected and move any proteced data/pages to a seperate folder/s and protect those other folders as required.

The www directory is only a redirect or shortcut to the public_html directory
