Best way to view slideshow?

I have slideshow to put onto my webpage. I was wondering what is the most friendly way to put it onto my page? Do I use Active X, Quicktime, RealPlayer, etc?

Hi .. what program or how did you create your slideshow? This will depend on the format and what you used to create it ..

I just downloaded a free program. It can make the file output just about anything (.swf, .mpg, etc). What I am trying to achieve is that when someone comes to my page, the slideshow just starts automatically without some message coming up that they have to run Active X or something. Is this possible? I really love the Banner Rotator, but I can't seem to get it to resize it's window for vertical and/or horizontal pics.

the problem there is that it is your pc's security Internet browser settings and that is calling the activeX. This can happen with flash and java scripts and also in preview.and depends on each viewers browser settings, some will get this message and some won't.

So dependent how you save it will determine how you insert it ..

if you save as .swf - insert using the flash icon in the builder ..

other than that use the media icon to insert ...

code - use an html box ..

This may be a really dumb question, but...If I use the Media icon to insert, will people with a Mac or some other platform be able to see the slideshow? I am trying to make it friendly for all. Thanks!
