1) In the last 2 weeks or so I notice that YouTube videos I've embedded on my VH pages won't play in Internet Explorer. They work just fine when I view these pages in the other 5 browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Flock, Opera, and Safari). Here is one such page, on my main site (see bottom of page): http://www.jhwm.net/about.html
I've even tried downloading the latest version of IE, but still all I get on these pages is a blank square where the video should be. Can anyone help?
2) I have a couple of videos in the Quicktime Movie (.mov) format, but when I try playing OR installing them using Windows Media Player, or Quicktime Player, or RealPlayer, I get no video, just a solid-green screen (the audio plays OK). Only VLC Media Player will show both the video and audio as they should be.
I found a site that says .mov files can be made to play in Windows Media player if you download the 3ivx-MPEG4 5.0 codec (I think I said that right??), so I downloaded it, and restarted my computer. Same problem is happening: solid-green screen with audio.
If there is NO way to play a .mov in either Windows Media or Quicktime players, is it possible to somehow install VLC media player on a BlueVoda page?
THANKS.
