how to take a group of photos and hyperlink them

I have a group of hyperlinks and i want to know step by step how to add a group of pics to my hyperlink named portfolio. do i use the lightbox key?
PLEASE HELP....i have been stuck on this for two days now

Second, it all depends what you want to do with the pic that you place in your page.
