How do I make a customisation page similar to this one

Hello

I am trying to achieve an effect visitors can modify colours on an image on my web page

I want to be able for visitors to my site customise images with a series of colours to show how different items will look in different colours
and also at a later date I would like visitors to logo on and save their design ideas but this is way down the line
colorware.com has a page where you can change the colors of its products so some thing like this

You will need a script or program to do this. No easy way to code one up yourself.
