Adding a real player video

Hi. I have a downloaded realplayer video which I want to place on a new web site.
Can I do this?
Or do I need to convert it into another format? If so can this be converted without the actual files. Problem with this is that I do not have the files, just the downloaded video on my desktop.

Hi. Have got the video on the site now but it is playing very very slow.
