Help I can't get html to work at all

Hi All,

I really need help, I can't get hyperlink to work at all.
What happens is: everytime i put the http address in and click ok all my text goes blue and is underlined. I have done what the video says but god knows what i'm doing wrong............................please can anybody help me, i have been trying to sort this problem for two days...............arrrggghhh never tried to do this before and i am at the stage of giving up...........................

Your pc is probably programmed to underline links and show them in blue - most people's are. It's totally normal - don't worry.

Karels saying all the text was made into a hyperlink, and she doens't all the text to be a link

I don't know if this will help, I don't use BV, but try to right click and see if there is a remove hyperlink button

You put the http address into....where?
Does all of the text on the page turn into a hyperlink?
It should only hyperlink the text that is "highlighted".
