hiding a QuickTime sound control behind a picture

I want to hide a QuickTime sound control behind a picture but I can't seem to get it to hide.

I have a sound in the sound control, and the picture is of a machine with a button. I want to hide the QuickTime on/off arrow right behind the machine's button, so when people click on the button (without being able to see the QuickTime control hiding behind it), the sound will go off.

Is that possible to do?
