Could you tell me if I can make the title of my home page move, like the letters are being placed one at a time?
I would like to create some movement and quite like the idea of this affect.

Not 100% sure but think you need 3D graphics software. I'm sure, if you do a search here, someone has mentioned one that you can try out for free and you get to keep the gifs (files) that you create. Ulead (company) seems to ring a bell.

you can download a free 30 day free trial all the Graphics you create you keep so you do as many as you want.

be warned that these gif can take a while to load on your site, so don't make them to large or flashy.
