Meta tag keywords....

Does anyone know how many keywords google and other website crawlers like to see in your home page? Under page properties you have the ability to add key words to your meta tags section, but I don't know how many I should be adding, right now I have about 15 but I know I could easily make that into 50 or even 100 if it will help my site get crawled more, anyone have advice?

The keywords entered in the meta tag window must also appear in your text on the relevant page. There's no use in listing "purple cows" in your meta's if "purple cows" is not in your text on the page.

The META Keywords Tag is where you list keywords and keyword phrases that you've targeted for that specific page. There have been numerous discussions at various search engine marketing forums surrounding the use of the keywords tag and its effectiveness.
