hiding an image question

hi,

have looked through forum extensively to find an answer, no luck.

can anyone tell me if it is possible to hide an image apon loading, and stay hiden til my mouseover event brings it back?

the best i could do with the options is have them all appear until there is a mouse movement over the frame they are all kept in. then they all disappear, and wait for a mouseover the shape.

Do you want the image to stay up if the mouse is moved off?
If no, you could do a "rollover" and have the first image as a transparent block.
I'm sure another member can address this better.

i did want the image to stay only during mouse over. I thought your idea may have worked, but the rolloverimage has to be the same size images or it distorts.
