Problem with image & object positioning

I recently downloaded the latest BV update. Now I seem to be having difficulty positioning images or shapes (like rectangle box). If I try to position the item in a space within a text box, bv is placing it below the box or somewhere else at least when I preview it. This makes it difficult if not impossible to use these items on the page.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue so I can position images or shapes exactly where they need to be, please let me know.
