Re: HTML - Help with shopping baskets

Hi Sara. I also have the same problem. Because the html box is larger than the buy button it's very hard to line up. It can be done tho! It just takes patience. Just drop it near the image, save and preview in browser. That way you can see how it lies. Then you can go back and reposition it. I know its fiddly and time consuming but its the only way I know how to do it.
Someone else might know an easier way though.
    Hope this helps
    Karen

Re: HTML - Help with shopping baskets

Hi sare here is the e-mail i get from paypal and tell u how to d it hope its going to help u out
To create an 'Add to Cart' button for your website, please complete the
        following instructions.

        1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/

        2. Click the 'Merchant Tools' tab.

        3. Click the 'PayPal Shopping Cart' link, one of the Key Features
        under
        PayPal Website Payments Standard.

        4. Enter the details of the item you wish to sell and select the
        'Add
to Cart' button you wish to use.

        5. In the 'Currency' drop down box, select the type of currency you
would like to receive your payments in.

        6. To add additional details, click 'Add More Options' and fill out
        the
appropriate fields. Otherwise click 'Create Button Now'.

        7. If you have specified additional details, click 'Create Button
        Now'.

        8. Copy and paste the HTML code into your website.

        9. To save the code to use later, copy it into a text file.

        10. Click 'Done' if you are finished creating buttons, or 'Create
Another Button' if additional buttons need to be made.

Please note, do not mix shopping cart buttons using different
        currencies. A
buyer may only add items denominated in the same currency as the first
        item
        added to the cart.

If you change your preferences to block non-primary currencies, you
        will
need to update all your shopping cart buttons to your primary currency.

After creating an 'Add to Cart' button, you can easily modify the
        button
yourself by editing the HTML code. By making small changes to the HTML,
        the
        following can be altered:

        · Item Name
        · Price
        · Item Number
        · Banner URL
        · Return URL's associated with the button

Please note: You will need to be comfortable editing HTML code to
        Perform
        some of the tasks outlined.

To edit any of this information:

        · Retrieve the HTML you cut and pasted onto your website
        · In the HTML code, find the variable you wish to edit

For a complete list of variables, please review the Website Payments
Standard Integration Guide by following these steps:

        1. Click the 'Merchant Tools' tab.

        2. Click 'Learn more' under the PayPal Website Payments Standard
        section.

        3. Click 'Website Payments Standard Integration Guide' under 'More
        Information'.

To view this guide, Adobe Acrobat Reader software is required. We
        recommend
using the latest version available for your operating system. To
        download
or update Adobe Acrobat Reader, click 'Adobe Acrobat'.

Note: If you have your own website with Shopping Cart Buttons, you
        should
update your HTML code to reflect any new and confirmed email address
        for
all of your items. Not doing so may result in lost payments or sales.
        Until
you get all of your buttons updated, we suggest that you leave the old
email address on your PayPal account so you will continue to receive
        payments and orders.
