    How do i install an affiliate image and html tag

    Could someone pls tell me how to install an affiliates image and html tag on my website. I was instructed to save picture as and save in proper local directory where i have my elements for the webpages i am setting up for my affiliate promotion. I am then instructed to Copy/Paste the html-tag into my webpage source code. WHAT AND WHERE IS MY WEBPAGE SOURCE CODE? I copied the html tag and pasted it in an html box and saved the image in my blue voda image file. When i preview however all i see is the html tag with a little **** underneath. Does the fact that i have not published my site yet creating this problem.

    Also, i have chosen to use navigation bars to post a number of affiliates on my website, but when i mouse over the bars in preview mode, the url's pop up. I don't like this. It upsets me and makes me cry. What should i do?

    You need to join up as an affiliate, get a login and password then you can navigate to a page full of ready made banners with code that you can choose from. There are lots of different styles and sizes and you simply copy the code into an HTML box on your BlueVoda page. You will not see the finished banner until you publish.

    I'm sorry you have had to wait for an answer and hope that this helps. Here is the link:

    Ps. There is a forum called Affiliate Program that contains all the information about it. It's just a bit further down the page.

      Thanks girlonthehill, but my problem is with sites that you have to save the image and copy the html. Some sites give you strictly an html code which is easy. U copy and paste into html box and poof you have an instant link you can see when you preview. The other way i save the picture into my blue voda image file. I then copy and paste the html tag into the html box. When i preview however, the html i pasted in the html box is visible.

        some of the codes can work in preview mode but some only will work when you publish your page, and maybe that's what is happening with your code, try to publish and see if this is working. or if you don't mind please post your code so we can see where and what is your problem

            your code is not correct
            try this:
            HTML Code:
            <a href="http://secure.pokerchamps.com/pokerpublic/arequest?acode=IXCUXFYG"
            target="_blank"><img src="/pcb_12030_c1.gif" border="0"></a>
            the code above will work when you publish your page. and if you want your code work in preview mode make it like this:
            HTML Code:
            <a href="http://secure.pokerchamps.com/pokerpublic/arequest?acode=IXCUXFYG"
            target="_blank"><img src="pcb_12030_c1.gif" border="0"></a>
            .
            .

              or if you want the easier way, just insert your image pcb_12030_c1.gif in BV page and then in the link field you type your Affiliate link https://secure.pokerchamps.com/poker...acode=IXCUXFYG and set the target to _blank
              .
              .

                Thank you Nyoman you are awesome! If i choose to use the easier way, will i have to worry about the website i want to promote not being able know i directed the traffic to their site?

                  Re: How do i install an affiliate image and html tag

                  I don't think so, because the html code will be the same,you can check it, follow my instruction above, then right click the image see the HTML, i am sure will be the same as your code.
                  but if you don't want to make yourself concern. then use this code
                  HTML Code:
                  <a href="https://secure.pokerchamps.com/pokerpublic/arequest?acode=IXCUXFYG"
                  target="_blank"><img src="/pcb_12030_c1.gif" border="0"></a>
                  make sure you upload the image (pcb_12030_c1.gif) to see the result
                  .
                  .
