Favorite icon

Hi,

I have been trying to add a favicon to my website and found the line in the page properties stating "favorite icon". I loaded up a 16x16 pixel image in icon format and published the site several times. The icon is not showing up in the tag.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
