How do I setup "manadatory" fields on form?

I know I read how to do this somewhere, but darn if I can find it again.
Anyway, can anyone please tell me how I can set up certain info fields on a form to be mandatory? I want it to give the customer a message that a certain field(s) must be completed before the form can be submitted. (if they leave a field blank)

i.e, name email address phone # address

The Submitted form would only come to me via email if all fields are complete.

Appreciate any help you may have!

you need another script for field validation, you can either add in your feedback.php like Navaldesign tips click here or you can add javascript field validation in your form page, this is just an example click here

That's the one! (the script from Naval). I'll give it a try.

      Thanks so much Nyoman,

I need help with "Naval's" validation script. I just can't get it to work. I've been working at it for about 4 hours now. I'm confused on exactly which part of the script I'm suppose to actually copy & paste inside the body tag. And to which page? (the original form - which is my "menu.html", or the "confirmationpage.html", or the new "error_page.html")?????

        http://cateryourparty.com/menu.html

        Thanks,
