Re: Privacy Statement
Hey, Terry
VERY good question!!!! I would (also) like to know. It's funny, I was just thinking about "Privacy" issues.............along with submitting info to us (i.e., email address, phone #, home address, etc......)
I want our customers to have (NO) reservations about entering & submitting their info to us.
Thanks,
Debbye

Re: Privacy Statement
Carbon Terry and Debbyetex-
Your statement can reflect that you will not divulge any information submitted, to a third party and that all info is kept as the sole property of your business etc.. But unless you have ssl or shttp - you cannot 100% guarantee a secure transmition of the info.
Therefore it is best that if you are requesting payment for either services or product that you go through paypal. That way all information of a private nature is submitted via them and they do have a secure transaction.
You can purchase ssl from BV if you really need it.

Re: Privacy Statement
Andy,
We have purchased the SSL. I need the nuts and bolts of how to set up the privacy statement (I already have the content) so that you have to accept it before being forwarded to the form section.
Thanks for the help.CarbonTerry

Re: Privacy Statement
Carbon Terry-
I am not sure as I have not worked with SSL. If you are refering to a button where they press "I Accept" and then are allowed to proceed- then here are a couple solutions.
http://javascript.internet.com/forms/accept-terms.html
or
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...acceptterm.htm
**This one apparently uses DHTML- I am unsure if that would pose a conflict with BV.
Hope this helps.
