    Triple background

I want to create a triple background and not sure how to do it, I was wondering if you do it with adding a table and go from there? and if so how do I use it so it all is in sync with the first background

I don't understand what you mean, sorry. Do you mean like a triptych or layering?

A good way to learn about stuff like this though is to just have a go - try out different things. If you learn anything you think may help others - please pop back and share.

yes I am talking about triple layered backgrounds, the ones where they have three differant backgrounds layered to look really neat, I want to create that same look, I have been playing around and I might have something I am not sure. I don't understand the purpase of the table yet and how to use it with cellspacing and all

        Re: Triple background

Hi lesliemarie...I'm quite new here and I've just completed some web pages using triple layered backgrounds. I use a table in a table, etc....There are probably other methods to complete this look, however, since I'm html challenged I figured it out my own way.

I used 800 width. In page properties....under "view", I center the page. On the background tab, I use a background color or pattern. The next step is to build the background. Click on the "table" button. Cell Spacing "1", Border "1" and Cell Padding "0". Also, using one column and one row. Right click>in the table, go to cell property>a little menu will pop up to give an option for a background. Click, and place background (either image or color). Pull table to the size you want and center (use center alignment) and lock. This step is followed for the next layer on top of the previous layer. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need other info! Benji

Thank you SChajin! I hope navigation was okay. I should put this in an another area of the forum to get any feedback. I keep editing and revising (lol). I just checked your 2 sites...love the "thebarefoot traveler" and the "gladyourgone", well, that's really a cool idea. Kindda gets your frustrations of "your chest" so to speak. Thank you again!
