Adding Newsgator Or Xml

hi i was looking at adding a news feed on my site or something lke that and was looking at what yahoo use and it is a bit above me,its an rss feed using xml ? and it says add the button but its differant formats i dont know like typad, blogspot etc or does nay one know where i can get a good current affairs neews feed or similar cheers

Have you tried BBC or CNN ...check out this thing I just found and see if it is for you - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/help/3223484.stm

yes thats where i started and i went to get a news reader programe for the rss link and i signed up for it free but then it all got a bit above my head like if im ysing apache server which i am i do this that the other woooo to much for my little brain i can just a bout use the html box thingy lol, are well was just looking for something to replace the casino add on front page as google wont let me advertise now as its considerd gambling etc so ,,,,, need a change any way

Okey dokey tapokey...just how much caffeine have you had today...I think you lost me after 'apache'...you realize i'm even less adept than you when it comes to this stuff..so if you can't figure it out...I'm not about to strain my lil' ol' head and pull out my hair in the process. So if I see any 'rss feed' thingies for 'idiots', I give you a holler....lol.
