Problems with a banner exchange program?

Every time i fill out the application for a banner exchange program the message below pops up. Could someone let me know how to remedy this problem!

Hi Naval, what do you mean a non existing url? When i put the following url into my browser it takes me to the banner. http://www.freerollhaven.com/frlhvnban1_468x60.gif

Now it does get me to the banner. this morning it gave me a Page not found error. and your initial error message (http request failed) indicates excactly thatthe page could not be found. Maybe it was only a temporary server down problem

I thing (please correct if i am wrong) this is something to do with the website where you want to apply for exchange banner, because the error you got is from their site:
failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable in /home/pokerexc/public_html/config/signup_check.php on line 9

either your banner size to big or somethingelse, and we won't know unless you post what is on line 9 of the config/signup_check.php, and probably you don't have it because i think this file is belong to the site where you applied.

so the best way is you need to contact them and explain the error message you got it

You are absolutely correct. The problem is that i have already tried contacting them numerous times, but they won't reply??? buttheads. Oh well thanks for trying!

Or, the syntax in line 8 or 9 is wrong, as Watdaflip syggested, and that's why it fails to open the stream. Pokerxc is your site? if yes, you have this script in your public_html. It is called signup_check.php script. . If you don't have it also in your computer, download it from the site and post the first 10 lines here
