Missing template

Can someone please help me. Joined yesterday after designing offline for about two weeks. My template that I spent a while creating and adjusting doesn't show when the web page opens, only the elements added onto it?

What type of format are you using with the template?

I adjusted the template in photoshop and saved it as a jpeg!

Hi Racefan. Just created a page using the template on it's own and it opens, will try add elements again and see if it works!

If it's a .jpeg, just add it as an image and you're ready to rock.

Probably error in creation. I got it to work and it loads OK. Thanks a mil for your help.

Tell me something, I'm new to this. My site is still in the early stages of design (webbrok.com) and I have the name fly in using a marquee and then the background template oads later on, which is not exactly what I had in mind. Is there a way you can set what loads when or is it out of your hands?

A lot of it depends on the load time of the file. If your template is loading late, it's probably too heavy with images and so on.
