  • Picture quality?

    Hello all,

I hope you can help me!

I'm trying to learn how to build a website with BV but I'm having a problem.

The site that I want to build is very dependent on pictures and those pictures must be the highest quality that I can achieve. Its critical to my busIness.

The practice pictures that I am using are grainy or is the term pixalated. They where taken by a professional and are high quality.

If I am unable to get the pictures any clearer I want be able to use BV.

    Please help me!!!!!!

    Re: Picture quality?

    Hi Stephen,

So that others can understand the situation, can you please tell us:

    1. Are the pictures pixalated on your computer, or in BV files..??
    2. If the pictures are clear on your computer but get distorted in BV, do you change their size when you place them on the BV page..??
    3. What format are the pictures (ie, GIF, JPEG..etc)?.
    4. Do you have a URL that we can have a look at to get a better idea..?
    Cheers.

      Re: Picture quality?

      Stephen,
      What is your website?

-BV will does not load *.png and some browser can't see them very well, for photographs best to stick with *.jpeg.
-When you have very good quality pics without a watermark, you run the risk that users may copy them without your permission.
-Also, real high quality pics take up bytes and slow pc's or slow connections are going to take a long time to open.

Consider PixResizer to show small images on your page and open each to a larger high quality photo.

      Good luck.
