Adding database, payment and registration forms to my site

Can anyone help me with adding databases,as I think I will need one running in the background, also, what type of form do you suggest for people registering on my site.
Can I add a payment form into my site, with PayPal.
    Thanks,
    Gary.

Think you may have to expand on what you are trying to achieve IE:
    • What’s the database for.
    • What’s the registration for. IE membership/selling/newsletter
    • What’s the pay pal for? As this can be added to any site.

    Chris.

      Hello,
The Pay Pal is easy enough,I remember that much.
If people are joining my site, will I need a database for all the people who join, just in case I get a lot of people.
Can I just use a normal registration page, for people to join.

You can start with just a form/link to harvest people’s info. Or you can get form maker pro from Vodahost for free, this has its own database that stores any & all fields on the forms that you make for the site. You can then transfer it to a csv file that will enable you to place the info on an XL spread sheet then into your address book. If you’re not sure about installation of form maker, Vodahost will install for you for $30.00 (about £17.00) which is a good deal as your getting it free. To go one step more, you would need a membership software like www.amember.com
